Life Strategies 101:
A Group for Adults with AD/HD.
Exploring the Biological, Emotional and Social Aspects of Living and Thriving with AD/HD

Life Strategies 101 is a group for Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder. Each group meeting has a focus. Some examples of meeting topics are: What is the current research on AD/HD? What is Structure and why is important? What are some AD/HD friendly ways of organizing? What are some strategies for overcoming some of the repetitive/ negative thinking I do? How can I be in relationships more comfortably and effectively?

In addition to the weekly group focus, participants come to know other AD/HD adults. Past group members have commented on how profoundly healing and inspirational the group was for them.

If you are looking for a place to learn more about yourself and AD/HD, this is the right group for you.

Life Strategies 201:
A Continuing Group focused on Skills Development for Adults Living with AD/HD

Life Strategies 201 is a group that will produce results in your life! It is an intensive ‘facilitator and peer’ coaching environment and does require a commitment of your time outside of the weekly group.

Each member of the group will be choosing a “project” or “long-term goal” to work toward during the 12 weeks that the group meets. Every participant will make weekly commitments about their project and keep a record of their progress. During each group, everyone will have an opportunity to share their successes and learn from their challenges. By being held accountable for working toward your commitments, you will have a chance to be supported by, and to support, others in the group. This is a positive group that celebrates what each person achieves.

Although each participant will enter the group very aware of the challenges that someone with AD/HD may face, these challenges will not be the groups focus. We will instead, be using the identified strengths to develop strategies for reaching goals and achieving success.

If you are ready to commit to change and take action, join us!

The group facilitators are:
Don Baker, MA, LMHC
Pete Terlaak, CPC (Certified Professional Coach)
